Internal security check after interview

Does anyone know or has experienced this "internal security check" after passing the citizenship interview? I have past my interview a month and a half ago (recommended for granting the citizenship) but have not received the oath letter. I went to the local office and was told that I am in the process of "internal security check" (different from fingure print security clearance) and there is no time range for finishing it. Any has any idea about this?

nope, not heard of this statement. Usually they would give such statements if they need more time to decide on the case.
