Hi all, I have read several posts similar to mine but not quite. I'm hoping someone out there has an answer to this because it has caused some confusion while applying for my citizenship.
I have been a green card holder for the past 3 years and became eligible to apply for my citizenship recently. I also have a 17 year-old son who is visiting me on a B2 visa. I would like him to remain in the US with me. Do I just add him as a dependent on the N-400 application and he will be naturalized along with me? Will he receive a green card as a result of this process? And lastly, while this application is processing will his visitor status be automatically extended until the result of my citizenship application has arrived?
