I have a pending N400 application and I have Co-Founded a company in a different state last year, but I never resided in that state and never worked at the company headquarter in that state; i.e., I worked from my home office all the time and my primary residence state has not changed. I also paid state taxes to the current state I am living in. Does this create a problem with jurisdiction etc.? I am wondering if this issue may come up during my interview and would like to be prepared. I am planning to take a supportive letter from our current company CEO stating that I always worked from my home office and never at the company headquarter. Would that be enough to prove that I am not a resident of a different state?

You should be okay as long as you are filing for your citizenship in the state you are actually residing in. I was turned down as I was physically working and living out of state. I assumed since my home, license, etc was Ohio that is where I was to file, but was told no.. it is where you are actually living at that time. It is Federal..Ohio considers me a resident, but federal considered me not to be an Ohio resident.
