Hi,
My wife and I landed in the US on March 7th 2020 and flew back to Trinidad where we lived on the same day. We did that so that the SSN and Green Card applications could start while we get ready to move. Our country the shut down the airport the next week and we were unable to get out until the end of September when a repatriation flight transported us (The airport was still closed to scheduled flights). I am hoping that I can apply 90 days before the 5th anniversary of March 7th 2020 rather than the 5th anniversary of September 30th 2020. During my time in Trinidad in 2020 I worked remotely and paid taxes in California for that period as I had put that as my place of residence.
Any idea how this will be handled?
