    can anyone tell me the time line from sending off my 1-400 to the actual interview time.. my problem is a follows:

    I just realized while about to apply for citizenship that my Green card runs out in mid sept.(i thought its was Nov) So I recently moved to Greensboro NC and had to wait 3 months to apply, so do I
    A: Apply for a renewal of my green card ($475)
    B: Apply and take the chance that my citizenship($675) will come through BEFORE my Green card expires... or do i just have to apply for both and know i will lose the Green card fee, if my citizenship goes through 1st ? Ok, help me out here people....thanks

    For Greensboro, is the local office Raleigh or Charlotte? For Raleigh, the timeline is roughly 4-5 months whereas Charlotte is a little bit behind and takes more than 5 months I think.

        I think for Greensboro the local office is Raleigh-Durham. To make sure, go to the following USCIS link and enter your zip code to find out:
