N400 Affiliation: Two Questions

Question 1: I forgot to enter on my N400 form my membership info to an engineering association in my home country. During my interview, I will inform the officer about this so that this info can be updated on my form. Is this a major potential for delay? Anyone who has experience in updating their affiliation info during the interview?

Question 2: Do we need to enter our mandatory military service that we had to do in our home country as affiliation?
