misspelled first name on Passport

to anyone that might know
My fiance had to get her passport renewed at the paraguay consolate for us to get our marrage lisence. there are two misspelled letters in her first name i.e.from Miriam to Mirian we got our lisence with the latter name since our plans are marriage plans are all ready set,plus the lady said there shound not be a problem with a first name typo, by the way im a born american citizen.any help woulod be appreciated. this is for her G C
