Hi, I have applied for citizenship in 2006 and got denied because I have been working overseas which broke the requirement of continuous residency even though I have come back every 6 months. The lady who interviewed me told me to sign a paper to withdraw the application which was better than having her to officially rejected my case. Questions:
1. Will the prior withdrawal affect my application and does USIC has any record?
2. I have been living in several places within San Francisco for 5 years and just come back from a 1.5 month trip in Hong Kong but the Eligibility Worksheet stated that I must have resided in the district or state I apply for the citizenship for the "last three months", do I need to wait for 3 more months?
3. I am currently unemployed, will it affect my application?
Thanks!
