Can you please tell me from your experiences or knowledge if it is OK to travel outside the US after the interview (approved! ) and before the oath?

Yes, it is absolutely ok to travel outside the US after the interview. You may do this as many times as you like as long as you do not violate your permanent residence requirements of being out of the country for over 6 months.

Absolutely, you can travel, but make sure you get back on time because you don't want to miss your oath day which is the final requirement for US citizenship! All the best on your trip!
