  • not receive fingerprints notice

I filed my application in may, 20, and I actually do not receive any fingerprint notice. Is it normal? My local office is New orleans. thank you for your answers.

Looks like it has been a while and typically two months for fingerprinting is not normal. Two questions:

    (1) Did you receive the Notice of Application (NOA) from USCIS with your application number on it?

    (2) Did your online status change to something like "Request for Evidence" ?

yes I received the NOA in may, 22nd and nothing chnages in my status. It is still in "initial review". L called them and the person told me to wait until the end of august and contact them if I do not receive anything

OK, that's good to know since your status has not moved to "Request for Evidence" you are now sure that the fingerprinting notice was not lost in the mail or sent to a wrong address. You might try to call the USCIS 1-800 number again and request to talk to a 2nd tier officer since they usually have more info than the first agents who answer the call.
