about oath ceramony

Hello..
I had my interview on 08/05/2011 & i passed my naturalization civic test but they give me N-14 & told me that I have to send all the doc. that indicate in N-14 before 09/05/2011.I sent all doc. on 08/15/2011.but after that i havn't got my approval letter or oath ceramony letter.whenever i check my case status online it says that i m in testing & interview step..how long does it take time for an oath???

Did you contact USCIS at their 1-800 number and ask about your status? Either do that or if the USCIS local office is nearby schedule an infopass appointment and talk to an officer in person.

Thank you...Yes i did call 1-800 # & they told me to wait for an Oath ceramony..But i am worried bcuse they never send me approval letter...they told me to wait atleast 90days after an interview.

This is good news since they placed you in the oath queue. So I would not be worried. Did you receive any online status update? If not, you can try calling the 1-800 number and ask to speak to a 2nd-tier officer. They usually have more detailed info on your case status.

i completed the interview in fairfax, VA and was told to wait for oath letter as case could not be approved. 9 days later they approved the case and mailed the letter. the officer was very nice and even hinted my case was going to be approved in a week or two

entire process took 16 years

be a bit patient.

What did the officer ask about? Didn't the officer provide any info?
