Hello,
Thank you in advance for helping me with the below questions.
I am a permanent resident through work sponsorship since 2005 and am ready to apply for the U.S. citizenship. In 2010, I married a U.S. citizen. My husband is a one-time divorcee with a child. His son (my stepson) lives with his mom. My questions are:
1. On Page 6 of the Form 400, Part 9, Question B: Provide the Following Information About All Your Sons and Daughters: do I have to list my stepson as my child? I read M476 publication, and looks like the answer to this question is yes I have to include him on my application, but I just wanted to double check with the experts here.
2. If the answer is yes on Q. #1, do I have to provide the child support evident even though I am not responsible for my husband's child support payments (said so in his divorce decree)?
Thank you again for your time.
Kay
