  • Addresses lived in the past year?

Although I have lived in different 7 places in the past, not necessarily I have proof for all places.

I have 2 subquestions in here-

    1) i lived at residence A (1st month), moved to my native country outside USA (lived 5 months), and my parents when i was outside moved to residence B (4th month).

In other words, I lived in residence A, then went outside USA, while i was out my parents moved to residence B. Then I came back residence B.

So in n-400 should i use start-end date's same as my parents have lived in residence A and residence B?

    2) Since I got job, I moved to other state A, lived in hotel for 6 days. Then I took APT on lease.

In other words, living in Residence A (6 months) > Hotel(6 days) > Residence B(5 months 28 days)

Should I include Hotel stay as part of home address or I can exclude hotel, and adjust the 6 days in Residence B?

Please help here, I don't want to make any mistake.

Before I answer, one question: Did you never file AR-11 Change of Address with USCIS? If yes, go by those dates/addresses. If not, you can go by the below suggestions, but beware, I am not a lawyer and the below are just my opinion about what I would do:

    1. Since your whole family moved, I would enter the dates your parents moved. I assume they changed their address with USPS and all your mail was forwarded to the new address as well, so that seems the way to go.

    2. I would simply absorb the Hotel stay in either address A or address B. Should not be a big problem since it is 6 days anyway. It's not like you stayed for 6 months at the hotel.

      Thanks for reply.

I went to this page- Electronic AR-11, it says

Most non-United States (U.S.) citizens who are in the U.S. are required by law to notify DHS of any change of address within 10 days of moving to a new address.

Is it a problem for me now since i'vent notified.
