  • Is the spouse required to be present on the interview appointment?

Quick question: If I am applying for a citizenship through marriage with an American citizen, does my spouse need to be present with me on the day of my interview?
In my case my husband won't be able to come with me. Will that be considered as a negative or suspicious thing?
As far as I know I will be by myself in the interview room. I don't think anyone is allowed in there. I am thinking will they call for him in the waiting room? I have a feeling they won't.
Thank you in advance for your help!

No need for your spouse to come with you. As you said, you will be alone in the interview room. Nobody, including your spouse, is allowed in there except the officer and you.

    Best of luck!
