  • Options for Moving to the US permanently to Live with my US Girlfriend

Hi there, I have recently applied twice for a B2 tourist Visa which I got denied (I do not have strong enough ties to the UK, No house etc). My original plan was to visit my US girlfriend and we would sell up and move to the UK to Live. But after thinking long and hard we have decided that we would like to stay together in the US, she owns her own house and has a son in school there. What are my best options? From the looks of it, my best bet would be the K-1 Fiance Visa, is this correct? We would prefer to not have to marry just yet, are there any other options open to us. Thanks for any help you can give.

Yes, it looks like the K-1 Fiance Visa is the way to go.

Are you a UK citizen? If yes, you could visit her under the Visa Waiver Program for 3 month periods. The burden of that of course would be that you need to go in and out of the US every 3 months which would complicate things.
