Selective Service Question-Plz Help

Hello there,
I am filing N-400 for my husband, who became citizen via me (I am U.S Citizen). My Husband came on F1 visa in 2005 when he was 24 years old. And he got his green card in 2009 at age of 28 years.
What do I answer to this question,Yes or No: I answered No (as F1 is lawful nonimmigrant right?) Is it correct?

33. Are you a male who lived in the United States at any time between your 18th and 26th birthdays
in any status except as a lawful nonimmigrant?

If you answered "NO," go on to question 34.
If you answered "YES," provide the information below.
If you answered "YES," but you did not register with the Selective Service System and are still under 26 years of age, you
must register before you apply for naturalization, so that you can complete the information below:

Does he need to register with Selective Services now? Or How do I find out if he is already some how regesitered with SS?

NO is the right answer since he was still a non-immigrant when he completed his age of 26.

So you are fine and you do not need to worry. You did the right thing. He did not need to register and he does not need to register now.
