Selective services registration

Hi i have a question about selective services on N-400 Applciation - I answered no to this question.
Can any one advise as i am scheduled to attend interview and if officer asks me why i did not register with selective servcies - i have a right answer. I entered USA on H1-B at age 23 and became a permanent resident at age 32. Am i good not registering for selective services? Please advise, if not, what should i do now as i am little concerned as my interveiw date is being scheduled here pretty soon.

You were still a non-immigrant at the age of 26. H1-B is a non-immigrant status.

You did not need to register and you do not need to register now.
