Please read and provide your suggestions. I have two questions regarding N-400 Part 6 A and B. I left the company which sponsored my Green Card in 2004 just two months before I got my GC approved and joined my current employer. I-485 was pending almost two years before this, so AC21 is applicable. No AC21 paperwork was filed, however. I permanently moved to my new employer’s city in 2004 few months after getting the GC and living at the same address ever since.
Now I am preparing the N-400 application, I have two questions. How to answer Part 6 A (where have I lived during the last five years)? Do I need to give the date from 2004 or can I give the date 5 years from the date of N-400 application (i.e. 2007 June)?
Similarly for Part 6 B (where have I worked during the last 5 years), do I need to give the date from 2004 (i.e. 2 months before green card approval) or can I give the date 5 years from the date of N-400 application (i.e. 2007 June). The second option looks better, but I do not want to appear that I am hiding something by not showing the date as from 2004, i.e. I joined my current employer before my GC was approved.
I would very much appreciate your suggestions. Thanks.
