Hello,
I am currently in the process of becoming a US citizen. I just had my biometrics appointment today and now studying for the civics test.
Part of my decision to become a citizenship is having the right to vote.
If everything goes well and I am called for the Oath ceremony will I legally be allowed to vote on that day? Or will I have to wait for additional documents in the mail?
And if I am allowed to vote how long does the voter registration process take?
I apologize if this post is in the wrong section on this forum.
Thank you!
