I was Interviewed on SEP 19 2012 for Citizenship .i passed the civics and English test .with my N400 application i also send photocopies of my tax returns etc
as a proof of continues residency . the IO told me that there is a problem in my stay outside USA and he can not approve my nationality on his own because my case will be checked so USCIS will review my application.he told me that i have two visits of 180 days and more outside USA .he can ignore the exact 6 months visit but can not ignore the first visit of 11 months and i have to give some written proof of that visit .during interview after time outside USA section the officer said that we will continue with the
interview process.after the interview the officer returned me a paper with a check box that no decision has been made yet and told me that my decision is pending and he will do his best to reply within one month even the official time is two months.he said USCIS will let me know if my application is accepted or not
my interview and application everything was fine except time outside USA
now here are some facts and figures
i am living in USA since may 2005 , total of 7 years and 4 months
my first visit outside usa was in 2006 (that was about 11 months. i didn't exceed the 365 days limit)
my second visit was in 2008 (that was exactly 5 months and 29 days, total of 180 days .even i didn't exceed 180 days limit here)
i am living in USA for the last 3 years and 6 months without any outside trip
my father had taken many trips of 180 days or more but granted citizenship by USCIS
my parents and wife are US citizens .
now what are my options ,lets say i break the continues residency in my 2006 visit outside USA ,still its been 6 years
from June 10 2006 to June 10 2012 . in last 5 years my only trip outside USA was exactly 180 days
is it possible that i can again send my tax returns and bank statements etc to uscis regarding this case and how or directly ti IO
should i wait for 1 month or two or contact USCIS
can i get any help from our congress men
on a side note i need to move quickly as my parents health backhome is not good and i can't leave USA till any final response from USCIS.
i have proof of this .should i mention this also
any help
thanks
