Cruise line company is NOT US Government. They can't cancel your visa. They don't have that power. All what they can do is to escort you to the air-port.Remember,they have obligation to buy you a air ticket to your home-country.In most of cases, the cruise ship management would try to manipulate with employees,by telling them stories like"if you go,we will cancel your visa....".Don't be afraid,if you don't like that company-just find a job in different one.I have worked on ships 10 years and changed 4 cruise ships companies and now live permanently in USA.This is a good example of modern slavery on the cruise ships.Tell that manager to came in USA and try to do that....Most likely, would end up in jail. All best to all crew-members....

Hello,
I agree with sani because ship management company doesn't have the rights to cancel your visa. I think your HR manager is trying to blackmail you so that they can keep you with them. so don't worry if you a looking for a job change you can do it without any adverse effect on your career.
