  • Can flight attendant use crew visa in US?

    Hello,

I have a couple of questions regarding my friend's travel plans to the US. She used to work as a flight attendant and is now planning to come to the US to deliver her baby. She intends to stay for around 2.5 months. Can she use her crew visa to stay in the US during this period?

Additionally, her husband is employed by an international corporation and is scheduled to work in the US for at least three years, starting a couple of months after her baby's delivery. They are considering whether it would be a good idea for her to stay in the US and change her visa type (assuming she has a valid visa for a longer stay) to minimize the need for international travel and quarantine. What would be your advice on this matter?

Regarding your friend's travel plans to the US, if she intends to stay for around 2.5 months to deliver her baby, it's best to check with the US embassy or consulate in her home country whether her crew visa allows for such a prolonged stay.

As for changing her visa type, it may be possible for her to apply for a different visa while
owespeedtest in the US, but she must ensure that she meets all the eligibility criteria for the visa category she intends to apply for. It's advisable omegle to seek advice from a reputable immigration lawyer to explore her options and guide her through the application process.
