I'm actually working on a cruise ship and I am disembarking on the 18th of march in fort Lauderdale.
My flight is leaving on the 21st of march for Paris and I thought it wont be an issue because as I am a french citizen, I'm a part of the WVP;
I also did a ESTA application which have been accepted.
But lately I have been told that, as I'm currently holder of a C1/D visa (as a crew member), I have to leave the country within 24 hours.
However I had a look trough internet and had read that with that kind of visa, I would be allowed to stay in the US as soon as I have a flight ticket justifying that I'm leaving the country within 29 days, which is my case.
I'm a bit lost with all those contradictory informations and I would like to know if I'm gonna be in trouble and if yes what should I do.
Thank you for your answers
