renewal of C1/D visa

I need to renew my US VISA for joining a vessel. i am not sure of all
the procedures. do i have to go through the interview again?

i read the eligibility criteria for renewing US VISA and from what i
understand i am eligible for that.
but am i suppose to also fill the normal applicant form too?
please clarify the procedure as i need it as soon as possible and i
don't want to make any mistake.

also how much will i have to pay? is it the same amount which i paid while applying for the first time or is it going to be less?

Hi,

If you are joining a vessel, it will be of great help if you will get a Letter of Employment from your company. You will still be interviewed the normal process but since you will only renew your C1/D Visa, it will not be that hard and you will be asked simple questions about your job and how long have you been with that company. The fee is $160, but please double-check from the USCIS website.
