DS-160 question - Intended Date of Arrival

Hi,

I already submitted my uncle's DS-160 with a particular date (X) as 'Intended Date of Arrival'. But I am unable to get a visa appointment before that date. So, should I submit the DS-160 again? or is it okay to give any date as 'Intended Date of Arrival'?
