I have an employee on a recently acquired J1 visa registered under Company 2.
Company 2 is being acquired by Company 1, it isn't a merger as there will be no new company name. Both companies share the same leadership board and provides the same services.
If her job title is to remain the same, will she have to reapply for her J1 or shoot for an H-1B under Company 1? or shall a memo to her previous application suffice?
