My wife is currently in the US on a J2 visa and I hold a J1 visa. Previously, she worked in the US for 3 years on a TN status, as she is Canadian, and is planning to go back to work in the near future. She is considering switching back to a TN status since it takes more than three months to process the I-765 form required to work on a J2. Is this likely to be problematic? For example, at the border would they deny her a TN because she already holds a J2?
