I am on a fellowship in Seattle, USA till July 30, 2015 on a J1 visa. The visa stamp says that the visa is valid for a month after the completion of the fellowship. I was planning to visit Canada after the fellowship for two weeks, come back to Seattle and then fly out back to India. Would I be allowed reentry in USA on my visa?
My wife is also in a similar situation (of note; she also has a valid B1/2 visa, unlike me). If not allowed, would she be allowed to re-enter on the B1/2 visa? We will plan on our Canada sojourn accordingly.
