J-1 visa cancellation due to prolonged AP period
Hello all, I had an emergency visa interview on 3rd May as my internship was to begin from 15th May. All of my documents (DS-2019, DS-160 printout, etc) including my passport was returned during the interview and I am in AP since then. My internship has been cancelled now. May I know whether it is required to cancel my visa application? If yes, how can I do so, i.e the procedures required? (I would like to study in US in the coming years and I wouldn't want to hamper my chances)
