Has anyone faced a similar situation of scheduling a J1 visa appointment after the start of their classes for an exchange semester? I have already applied for the J1 visa, completed the DS-160 and I-901, but the appointment date I received is one day after my classes begin in the US. I have submitted a request for an expedited or emergency appointment to address this issue. If you have experienced a similar situation, what actions did you take or do you have any advice to share?
