Travel after K1 entry

Hi,

From what I read, after K1 visa entry, the visa will be cancelled and my fiancee should not go out of the country until she gets the temp green card or AP. She still has her visitor visa, can she use it to regain entry back to the US before she gets her gc?

Travel after K1 entry

No, K1-Fiancé visa is good for a single but not multiple entries - meaning once its been used to enter the US, u cannot use it again.

On the other hand, if your fiancé wants to travel abroad temporarily while her form I-485, AOS application is pending, she can do so by applying for a travel document (commonly referred to as Advance Parole - AP) by filing form I-131. It takes about 3 months to get so be sure to plan ahead of the intended travel period.
