My fiancee was interviewed in La Paz, Bolivia on Sept. 27. The Consular Officer said that she wanted to talk with me. She was also told we would receive a decision on her K1 visa within two weeks. The interviewed involved 3 questions. Has you father met for fiancee, does you father live in Bolivia and How did you meet your fiancee. Also, as she was leaving the interview, the Consula Officer made the comment, I see there is quite an age differnce between you and your fiancee. They did not keep her passport. I have been in constant contact with the Consular Office for two moths making sure all documentos and materials were complete. I received this email from the Consular Office on Oct. 1, 2012.
Dear Mr. Sadler,
Thank you for your emails.
Yes the Consular Officer has already determined what will be required from you. However unfortunately these processes sometimes take longer than what we would expect or desire as cases are seen on a first come first served basis. We kindly ask you to be patient as the Corresponding Unit will be contacting you sometime during the week to inform you.
We appreciate your understanding. and patience.
