  • AM CONFUSED,FIANCEE HAS RECEIVED LETTER FROM FOREIGN CONSULATE-london

Is anyone familiar with london proceedings?

Fiancee received a letter and was directed to fill out forms 230pt 1, 156,156k, etc. the instructions given here was not really clear. She called the embassy and she got a different direction to submit all the forms back. But online it saids to submit the 230 pt 1 and readiness form.

Can someone tell me the right thing to do? She is having her police report done andafter that her medicals. Will all the forms be sent to the embassy with supporting documents or they have to be sent out after her medical when she has received all supporting document like i-134, etc ? Also, should she complete/fill the ds-230 part 2, i know she musnt fill the last end of it and has to do that in front of the person interviewing her.

I need help ASAP. Anyone familiar with the proceedings????

Someone who has been to the London Embassy should be able to provide more accurate information. The following procedure is based on another Embassy in Europe.

I first submitted the 156, 156K and 230 part I which they then confirmed to have received. The forms I completed at the medical exam were sent to the Embassy automatically. Then I brought all other forms (I-134, supporting documents, police certificate etc.) to the interview and handed them over.

Do the instructions tell her to just fill out the 156, 156K and 230 part I, or do they mention something about mailing them back? Their website also has some information about it.

Edit: Strange -- the link to the US Embassy in London has been censored...

Sorry Klinostat, I don't use this website anymore. I noticed an old email that you had tried to PM me. I haven't been on here in months.
      1. The website has gotten very slow for me. They declined to say their changes awhile back had anything to do with it, but my 3 devices suddenly were barely functioning on this site. So I dropped out.
      2. I hate that they censor links as wavedom has noted. Paranoia. Way too difficult to help people when I could just provide a few links to London embassy. So I'm using my knowlege and experience elsewhere to help K1s.

I hope you worked out your London process. Their website lays it out in detail if you click all the links left and right side of page and read carefully. A little different than wavedome has stated. Some forms are requested in duplicate. DS-157 from all applicants required. Also DS-2001 with a cover letter. Forms are mailed. Documents are not. They go to interview. They will not acknowledge receipt of your forms.
