Rules on entering the USA from Japan for K1

Hello Folks,

I am wondering what are the rules when a fiancee supposed to do when traveling to the states.. One the one way ticket from Tokyo to Seattle is in the 4k range so she is considering flying to Vancouver CA and connect Seattle.. Flying direct is pretty pricey but i have considered her entering the country by going to LAX and then fly to SEA and ticket cost is like 1200.00 and worth it to me.. So please give me your ideas and feedback. BTW she already has her K1 visa approval packet..

What kind of rules are you thinking of? As long as she lands somewhere in the US and goes through immigration she’s fine. In some cases it can be cheaper to buy a two-way ticket instead of a single ticket.
