k1 dates for Employers letter, & bank statements.

Hello;

I'm anixous to get the employers letter & obtain my bank statements, for the interview for the k1 process, but i'm concerned about the dates.
Is it alright to obtain those documents a couple of months before the interview, or are they picky about the dates being fairly close to the interview time. I'm thinking it would be fine, to get them now, and even if it comes up in January or Feb., I be ok. Both will be dated documents so that's my concern.

A month or two in advance should be fine. If the employer letter and bank letter show a stable income and assets, it won't be an issue if they're dated a couple of months before you use them.

Thanks for the reply. My form is being processed in California, so they say processing times are around 5 months. I got confirmation of recieveing my petition, 8-7-12, so I think it would be ok, but it if I get them now, & it runs into march or April, I wonder if the dates would seem to old. On the other hand practically, you'd think they'd realize you trying to get things ready, & as you say the substance of what you send is what they care about more then the dates.
