law for canadian citizen

hi to all
my wife is canadian citizen. i am living in india. we got married in aug 2012. it was second marriage of my wife and according to the new rule in canada, my wife can not apply for my immigration upto feb 2013 under five year sponsership bar. after that the whole process will take 6-8 months so all together a year. we were thinking if she moves to usa for a year. but we dont know the clear way. we have two options in mind
1) if she find job over there, move there and sponser me. under this category can she sponser me and how long it will take for me to get dependent visa. how hard is to find a job in usa. and any minimum salary package requirement to apply my visa.
2) if she get addmission as international student in usa and sponser me. if so then how long it will take for my visa.

currently she is working as quality assurance manager in food company. her package is around 60/year.
her qualification is msc micro biology
i am freelancer web designer and working in india. (post graduate in computer application)

1. If she has LPR status she can file a petition for you. The wait time seems to be a couple of years.

2. It’s not possible to sponsor anyone using a student visa. Only USC and LPR can sponsor relatives.
