hello Everyone.

Today is the mark of our 5th month waiting to get our noa2 or to get an update for our paper works, i will be calling uscis first thing in the morning. have anyone here called them after waiting for 5 months? what questions should i ask them? i checked the uscis website like everyday and my paper works still on " initial review" . Have anyone got there noa2 yet who had filed between june-july of this year? any comments, suggestions, will help. thank you all...

The five months processing time is just the goal that the USCIS has set up – it doesn’t mean that they guarantee you to process the petition within five months. For example, VSC is now working on K1 petitions received in late May. If your petition ended up at VSC it makes sense that you haven’t received the NOA2 yet.

last time i called them they said our paper works are in CSC not VSC..

Petitions are processed within the five months timeframe at CSC for the moment, but it can take a week or so to get the actual NOA2 in the mail. I would suggest you to wait another two or three weeks before you call the USCIS.
