  • Bringing my Non EU Wife Into the EU

Hi, My name is Acharya Hargreaves.

I am a US and British Citizen, I hold two passports. US Passport and UK Passport.

    I have a problem.

I recently visited Russia, however, my UK Passport was Expired, so I could only Visit Russia using my US Passport.

I fell In Love with a Russian Girl, and Got Married to her in Russia. Now I want to Bring her to the EU to live with me.

My problem is this. I Married her under my US Passport, because my EU Passport was expired. So How can I prove that my Wife is married to an EU citizen?

I Need to prove my Wife is married to an EU citizen, so I can get her an Entry Visa to the EU.

Can you please advise me on what to do? Or how I can prove to the French or Spanish or Greek Visa Centers or Embassy?

Do I need an EU Layer?

Thank you very much for your help.

    Sincerely, Acharya Hargreaves

First of all, you need to RENEW your British passport. That, and the marriage certificate (I think it must be apostilled) is your proof for any EU-member country's embassy.
