Hello,
I have my spouse visa immigration interview on march 5 in Islamabad, Pakistan. My wife is a US citizen, Caucasian, born in the US. My concern is that the last name on my passport is different from the last name on my birth certificate and marriage certificate. This problem was clarified at the time of the petition when an RFE was issued and I proved that I was the same person. The petition was then approved right away. \
The only thing is that I am a little scared that my official last name was changed back in 2001 but i continued to use the old name on important documents even after that. I hope that will not be a problem at the the time of the visa interview.
