  • the fastest way to be together??

Hello… We are desperate. I am an American citizen who met an Argentinian man in Argentina one year ago when I was there on an Army deployment. We have continued a long distance relationship for 6 months. When I ended my Army contract, we met in Peru and have been traveling together for the past 4 months. We are now in Mexico and want to stay together. What is the best and fastest way to de this? Six months ago he was denied a US tourist visa because he was not currently working (it is difficult to have a job while traveling…) Is it better to get married in Mexico or would we have to return to Argentina? How long would it take before we could be together in the US? How long does it take for a K-3 visa to be approved? If he entered the US illegally, would a Mexican marriage certificate alone keep him in the US or would he be deported? We are just 2 people that want to be together. Thank you in advance for any help.

There is a process called the DCF( direct consular filing)
wherein you can file for your husband's immigrant visa (I-130)at the
US consulate at the country of your husband's nationality and
where the marriage took place. This is a fast route to your husband
obtaining immigration outside of USA where the entire process
from your petition till the approval is completed at the consulate.
Not all consulates do this , so you
must ask them first giving them all details.

You may call the US consulate at mexico to find out if they do DCF.
And as far as I know US consulates at Argentina do this but again
call them first to make sure.

Entering US illegally is not advised for your husband.
K3 visa is another option which should only take some months to process.

It is not true that the K3 visa will take several months to issue. The process varies from person to person, and it can take up to a year or more.

To the original poster, I suggest you read up as much as possible about immigration at the USCIS' website: www.uscis.gov.
