I have an Immigrant Visa Interview to attend this month. I do not know what kind of question I may be required to answer..Please could you hint me a bit?
There is no definitive list of questions. The typical ones are:
1. How did you and your fiance meet?
2. How long have you known each other?
3. Where does he/she work?
4. Where does your fiance live in the US?
5. When was he/she born?
6. What is his/her phone number?
7. What does he/she do for a living?
8. When do you plan to marry?
9. Where will the wedding be held?
10. Do you have any children from previous marriages?
11. When did you and your fiance get engaged?
12. What was the engagement like?
Embassies in some countries will ask more questions than others. In high-fraud countries, embassies may be far more demanding than others. The most important thing is you and your fiance know each other well, which is basic anyway since you are planning to spend the rest of your lives together.
