Help needed please! K3 Visa

I was wondering if anyone could give me the timeline on their K3 visa. As far as what steps/forms you did in what order. I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you very much, it's still confusing as we have the I-130 receipt and I've sent in so many forms that it seems like a never ending ordeal. This is so stressful. It's saying I can enter the United States and await the visa to be approved. However when we called the national visa center they said it was a bad idea for me to enter the United States while it is in process.
