Should I mention that he visited me in the k-1 interview?

Hello all,
I am a sri lankan who is on the k-1 visa process. My countries US embassy has scheduled an appointment for the interview. My American boyfriend visited me just last month in my home country (it was his first trip). Should I mention his visit to my country in the interview? I am worried that they are going to ask why didn't he just marry me in Sri Lanka, if he was able to come and visit me all the way from US. The truth is, we really want to start our life in US and that's the reason why we didn't even think about getting married in my country. Please some one offer me advise on whether or not to mention his trip and show his travel docs. Thank you!

It is a good thing that he came and visited you! You definitely should mention that!! The opposite would be actually bad - that you havent met face to face before! They will not question why you didnt get married in Sri Lanka at all. they dont care about that. you applied for fiance visa for a reason that you want to get married in the states so they dont care about that. I hope you guys took some pictures together while he was visiting you and definitely print those out and bring them to the interview! Good luck with it!
