If the K3 Visa fails, then what about my child?
I understand that applying for a K3 Visa is something of a crap-shoot, having to do with the timing of the I-130 petition (if it is approved before USCIS receives the following I-129F from me, the petitioner). If it does fail, what do I do to get my wife's 10 yr old child into the states in a timely manner, as opposed to refiling for the child and waiting 18-36 months? I do not wish the child to be separated from her mom any long lengths of time. Please, help with some good advice. I'll need a contingency plan to stay ahead of the bureaucracy. BTW, the child is only my step-child.
