We did they whole K1-vsa process and they were ready to stamp his visa. But, the counselor office found out that we did not meet the income requirements. I thought that I could use a sponsor and I did not know that I couldn't. So, after waiting over a year and a half, the embassy told me to do the I-130 and the sponsorship would work. Now, here's where I need help at, I flew over to my Fiancé and married him. I just sent out the I-130. This is the only way I can get a sponsorship. Because we got an approval up to that point, will our proceedings go faster this time, or will they put us back at one? And will they look at the K1-visa? I read other forums and postings and I'm so heartbroken of reading stories of how people had to wait years and years. Keep in mind that my Husband and I are middle-aged, so we really made sure we were compatible and were really in love. Please note that we had an engagement in January of 2012, and married of May 2013. Can someone please give me advice on how this will go, and how does immigration proceed?
Thank you very much
