K1 case moved to NVC

I found out on the USCIS website that my petition for my fiance's visa was approved. I guess that means that my case is being sent to NVC or DOS. I have some questions about that now:

1. How long does it take for NVC to get it and approve it?
2. Is there something that I can do in the meantime while we're waiting?
3. Will she need to pay a fee to the embassy when she goes in for her interview or is that something that I can do?
