I have a small issue and wanted to know if anyone here on the forum has had experience with a situation like this.i am from pakistan and i applied for K1 visa and i im administrative process, waiting for visa to issue.
On my passport from Pakistan , the passport office made a mistake when listing my name .
The way is should be ( correct )
Given Name: Irfan
Family Name : Ullah
The way they listed it ( incorrect )
Given Name :
Family Name : Irfan Ullah
my immigration forms are all correct and i traveled many times using the incorrect passport.
My question is: Will this pose a problem when trying to enter the USA on a K1 visa ? Should i have my passport fixed immediately, or is it not a big deal ?
and if i change name now,should it will be a problem like they will ask that y i have given name in passport now and before i had only sur name?and i give both given name and sur name in all visa documents.only on passport its like that mean have only sur name in passport. i dont want that we have some issue again when they issuing visa after long long AP.please help me in this.
