hello everyone,
I attended my K 1 visa interview yesterday at the Mumbai consulate, and though my interview went well, The CO issued me a 221 (g) slip asking me to submit more documents ( phone records, and proof of correspondence) to the VFS center. I told her that I had brought everything, to which she replied that she doesnt have time to review it then, and that I should deposit the documents alongwith my passport at the VFS center. And that she will review it and Stamp the Visa and send it home. I promptly went and deposited the same within 30 minutes and came back home.
Today i saw a mail saying that my case had been updated and that i should check it at ustraveldocs. When i check the Dashboard it told me 3 hrs back my passport is waiting to be sent to Post. and now it says that My passport is still with the post. I am not sure what this means... does it mean that the visa has been issued and being sent to me Or......
I am pretty confused and anxious as hell.
