Urgent Engaged want to File K1 visa ASAP

I got engaged and want to file a K1 visa for my fiancé now (Jan-2014)

We want to get married in may 2014

After marriage in India, what steps are needed to get her to the US (we plan to be legally married as I doubt the K1 fiancé visa will be issued in 3 months)

Please help. this process is torture.

I am not sure of waiting till May to file a Spouse visa

Can someone please tell me the best and fast way out so she can come here.

If you marry in India in 2014, you must petition your new wife for a CR-1 visa, not a K1 visa.

I am trying to determine the best way to get this done

are you also aware of the processing times for K1 (delhi consulate and filing from Arlington .VA/ DC area

i was under the assumption that i could do the K1 and then convert to CR1 after marriage?

If you submit a K1 petition package, but then marry, you must submit a spousal immigrant package for her and cancel the I-129F petition.

There is no such thing as converting from an I-129F k1 procedure to an I-130 CR-1 procedure.

A K1 visa may take between 6 and 9 months, from submittal to Consulate interview).

A CR-1 visa may take a couple months more.
