conversion of visa from t to x or oci or pio?

I am an Indian citizen living in India with my British wife and Indian child.

I have few queries which i would like to enquire about and would be really great full if you can help me with the same.

My wife is a British citizen holding a British passport but she was born in Afghanistan so is she eligible for an OCI card as we extend her visa every year to continue her living in India. she is settled in India and would like to live here in future too but her parents are in England so we visit them often so I request you to please guide me and let me know which card she is eligible for. i.e. OCI or PIO?
